The only way to write an 8-10 page mostly research paper: Have only 1.5 pages of it done exactly 24 hours before it's due. Ouch!

Hmm...what's more important? Maintaining my A in English 410 orrr going to Waldos tonight to party like it's my birfday? Waldos you say? That's what I thought :) Besides, what else am I going to do with the $14 I got from book buyback. I love how I spend a good $100 on books, and the most I got out of any of the 9 books was $3. Gotta <3 WMU jerks!

Stupidity...doh!

3 exams done, 1 more to go. 2 papers to go. My life will be SO much easier after Friday, I swear. I know I haven't posted much lately, but it is finals week, what did ya expect? If I can get through this week, get everything done and not gain another 5 gray hairs on top of the dozen or so that I already have, I will be a HAPPY girl. It's so weird to think 1 year from now I will be graduating.

Anyhooters, I did a very stupid thing on my Spanish 321 exam. I was doing really well - I did great with the vocab and identifications and moved my way on down to the 2 essays. The first one was fine - it was about the movie Tortilla Soup, and since I have seen that movie 3 times I was happy with my performance. At that point, everything was flowing to me so fine, I checked to make sure I wasn't writing in English! Next, we had to look at some paintings, and had to discuss why they are important to hispanic people - there were 5 of them. I did fine on that, turned it in and went home with a feeling of sleepiness (the exam was at 8 am this morning) and accomplishment. I get home and I was going through my papers to throw them away, when it hits me. I TOTALLY MISSED ONE PAINTING. It was on the last page and I entirely skipped over it. There goes my A - that was worth at least 10 points. Fuckin' fuckers! I'm so disappointed in myself. Hopefully I can still get a BA in the course.
