If it's snowing outside in April, does that really mean there will be a Christmas in July?

It's seriously time to move out of Michigan. On Wednesday it was sunny and 72 - today it's 32 and snowing and it is April! I'm tired of this winter coat, spring jacket, short sleeves, winter coat stuff going on. I had a dream last night that I moved to California - the funny part of the dream was that I was a makeup artist for Megan Mullally (told you I'm obsessed with Will & Grace - I even dream about it!). But the funnier part is that I can't even do my own makeup in real life. Anyhow, maybe I should just stay ehre for 2 years, work and get my teaching certificate and then move my ass to California. I know there are better things out there than FLINT. Blah.

Here's a question for ya - in my boredom last night, I was flippin' channels and I watched whatever is on NBC with the American Idol/Star Search for kids type thing. Well, there's this 13 year old on there, singing his own composition about love (he sucked by the way). Seriously though...at 13, do you really know what love is? Definitely no. I'm 21 and although I have a concept of what love is, I don't know how it feels or what exactly it is. I just think it's ridiculous for kids that age to find the capacity within their horomonal bodies to love anyone other than their mom, dad or if it's a boy - their wenis. C'mon!

It's 11:00 and I promised myself that I would get some work done this weekend, so perhaps I will. Too bad I want to burn my Spanish 321 stuff, because I'm pissed at my teacher, but I'll get over that and end up doing my Resumen and the stupid questions she gave us. Thank goodness there are only 2 weeks left of the semester, otherwise I think my head might blow up.

This post is retarded. Maybe I'll have something better to say later, maybe not.

To end, a quote from Madonna on her "Music" CD which I am currently listening to: "Nothing equals nothing." Fo shizzle :)

Why do cute shoes hurt?

It's a glorious day outside, 72 degrees! It's one of those days when all those people who seemed to be skipping classes and/or hibernating during the winter, all come back out and they are everywhere on campus. The sun is shining, music is blasting on main campus and the chalkings are entertaining. It's one of those days when you feel happy to be a college student, amid all the stress. You actually feel good to be alive as welll because it seems as though winter is truly over.

Big news on the academic front...I've decided not to go to Spain in the fall. I spoke with my mom at length about it last night, and it seems as though financially it will not be feasible. I am disappointed, but I also know Spain will always be there, and I did get to go one time and I am thankful for that. So now I am in the market for a new apartment, furniture and substitute teaching. I'm excited about that :) Only 28 credits after this summer and I will be GRADUATED! It's kinda sad, but such a feeling of accomplishment.

After commiting pinkie toe suicide on Monday, my feet have decided that shoes suck. I wore my cute little red Tommy Hilfiger sneaker slides today, and my feet are DYING. I think in the world of feet, they feel as though they are dying a painful death. Smart one Erin, real smart.

Only 3 more weeks of the semester to go - I think I can hear angels singing "alleluia" somewhere or another. Life will go on - according to the grade I get in my stupid math class. Speaking of math, I must study for a test so I should do that now.

The quote of the day comes from Melissa, from RW New Orleans.

"Don't we wish everyone in this country sucked so much at shooting things that they stopped shooting altogether. "

Put that one in your blender and smooth it out.

Brothers aren't so bad

I just got done watching "Unfaithful." What can you possibly say about that movie? I really did like it - all people talked about were the raunchy sex scenes with Diane Lane, but there was so much more than that in the movie. It makes you think - how do couples deal with infidelity? Even if I were in her shoes, and I had the affair - I just don't know that I could stay with my husband knowing that he killed someone and I very well knew about it. I don't know though, that's just me. It was an excellent movie though, although I think it did go on a bit longer than it should have - it could have just ended with Diane Lane finding the pictures or at Charlie's play or something like that. Perhaps the reason I thought it went on so long was due to the fact that I had to pause it 3 times for phone calls, and I got up to go potty an additional 3 times...

I just stubbed the shit out of my pinkie toe - I'm doing everything possible not to yell at the top of my lungs right now!!!!!! Stupid bathroom doorway!

I went home this weekend, even though I had absolutely nothing planned. I was very impressed with myself - I actually did homework too. I called my oldest brother Che' yesterday morning to see what they were doing for the day, and he invited me to Frankenmuth. I just couldn't believe it - I was so excited :) So I went to Zehnders with him and Jeana and Matt and had a great time. Then today he came back over, and he was snooping around in my room like he always does - so he calls me into my room and gives me $20. I was like, "what is this for" and he says, "its for gas money. Granny said you are having a tough time right now, so this will at least get you home." How nice and unexpected was that?? I was so thankful for that, what a good brother I have...I actually have 2 of them :) Too bad when I jumped into my car to leave, he had rolled all of my windows down, turn my heat on full blast, turned the radio up all the way and had my windshield wipers on. Oh joy, the pranks of a 30 year old to his lil' sis! Speaking of my windshield, I just discovered another crack in my windshield - whats the life of windshields these days? 2 years?

Okay, I think that's all. I'm aboust to amputate my toes, but whatever. Tomorrow @ 11 I have my Spanish presentation, I will be so glad when that is over with, yo.

Quote of the day: ""The better part of one's life consists of his friendships."

Good night.
