The high points of today...
~Laundry
~Watching ER @ 11 and for some odd reason Dr. Lewis turned away from Mark-someone, please fill me in.
~Work, where a black man must have thought I was racist proclaiming to a headline of Dr Floyd (WMU's president) leaving, "I would leave too brotha'"...yeah okay-I'm so racist even though I am half minority myself.
~Getting out of work 25 minutes early so I could drop a Burgos letter of reccomendation off-thanks Anne :)
~A great story my mom told me about my nephew, Matthew. When asked "how old is Aunt Ernie? (Yes, he calls me Ernie!) He replies, "How old do you have to be to drink beer?" and my mom says "21" so Matthew replies, "Yep, Aunt Ernie is 21." GREAT-love how my nephew knows how old I am according to the fact that I drink!
~Okay so this counts for Wednesday, but an email from O'C that makes me laugh over and over again....as well as the email from Jenn today!
~Coming home and eating Papa John's with Michelle as well as playing a good 2 hours of Super Mario 3!!!
~Starting drinking at 8...waaaay early, tells you how bored I was!
~Going to Becky F's birthday party and playing some card game with B that gets you drunk fast...
~Seeing Teresa from my English class @ Becky F's party and hugging her...even though I've only conversed with the girl a few times, it's so fun to pretend you are such good friends when you are drunk. How would think that someone you know from one class would be great friends with someone from your other class?
~Bad thing of the day...it's taking way to much effort to write this, I drink too much (I was drinking Woodys something or another tonight Blueberry, wayy good!) I am going to the hockey game again tomorrow with the ASC and we are tailgating at Travis's. I think my next blog will start along the lines of "Hi, my name is Erin and I am an alcoholic."...
But a happy one at that! :) :) :)

Another day gone, another day less of this semester :) Really, this semester hasnt been that bad, I've just allowed myself to put everything off until the latest possible minute, which usually falls around the same time. Turned my Spanish paper in and talked to my teacher today about the Prostitution book. She didn't seem phased by the fact that I didnt want to do that book-she tried to encourage me to do it. She said she presented a paper about prostitution in Santo Domingo last month and that its a very interesting topic. Of course she asked me if I understood the book, and I said yes...but I must say anything that talks about "chingar"-ing I wont be able to present for 15 minutes without blushing!!! Not to mention, she told me to give her the book so she can read it before I give it back to the library. Nice, very nice! Guess I wasnt lucky enough to get a book which has a copy already in English...damn!

Gotta do a play in Spanish class-thats fun. Yeah right...luckily we can just tape it and show it in class, we dont have to perform it in front of the class.

My Women's Studies teacher asked me today why I dont talk in class....good question. Anybody got any good excuses?

Baking a cake...its a Halloween cake mix, but hey it was onsale last week at Meijer for 49 cents-even I can afford that.

Quote from the song Im listening to right now... "Now I hear it in my head, that strange wind that cries. It wakes me up inside."~from the Anywhere But Here soundtrack. Think it's Chrissy whats her name from the Pretenders but I dunno. Good movie anyhow. Makes me miss my mumma...

Funny quote from my Geography teacher today, "I don't know what made me ugly." We were talking about pollutants and that kind of stuff and what it does to the environment, and that comment came up. Definitely the highlight of my day- made me glad I stayed awake for part of the class anyway.

I need to go to bed...have to work at 8 am tomorrow and I have a paper to type while I'm working. Why I waste writing a 2 page Spanish paper in English first and then go on to Spanish beats the hell out of me...not to mention typing it.

So I wasted most of my weekend watching E!'s True Hollywood Story. If the murders of Rebecca Shaffer, Dominique Dunne, the Menendez parents, Nicole Brown Simpson, Sharon Tate, etc. are of interest to you, please ask me and I will fill you in on all of it-that was a good 10 hours of tv watching. Yes OJ is guilty and of course I now want to read Helter Skelter. Damn, no time!!!! Too bad I'm busy reading a GROSS book about prostitution for Spanish. I got some serious comments for my prof on that one tomorrow.

Okay, goodnight :) My roomies are playing good ole' normal Nintendo Mario 3 and I have to go to bed....
