Maybe this is too general of a question, but do you ever wonder why you are related to the people you are related to? Ie, why is Aunt Flow your aunt, and why does Reggie the nose picker have to be your uncle? Today I spent a good 3 hours with my dad's side of the family and I decided that some of these people are just odd and I can't directly correlate our relations...just a little thought there.

I don't really feel like posting right now. I have to be back in Kazoo tomorrow at 4 and I'm making homemade cookies right now. Blah.

Goodnight and my quote of the day shall be, "You funny lady." Listen to Molly Shannon say that, it's great :)

It looks like spring is coming, so smile and be happy. No more winter blues, cold and snow. (I hope!) I'm dying for this since yesterday I took a good 3 step spill on campus yesterday from icey-ness (I made that word up) and practically broke my butt. I kinda wish I would have fallen harder so I could sue my beloved WMU, but no such luck. Guess that's the way it goes, right Billy Joel? (And so it goes, and so it goes, and so will you soon I suppose...gotta <3 Billy Joel, kids)

Whoo hooo only 11 more minutes until the weekend. It kinda stinks because today our office learned that we are going to be doing a 10% budget cut. Sooo that means we are cutting hours and what not. Pretty much, as of the fall I will no longer be working here - the easiest job I will ever have. I really like it here, but it's better to leave on a good note , right? I decided I am better off substitute teaching, and I think I will happy with that decision. What the hell am I talking about, I should be in SPAIN in the fall for 4 happening months! I'm so undecided about everything these days.

On a very personal note, Jimmy Fallon will you marry me?

Anyway, I want to go out to LA in April...anyone wanna go with me and pay my plane ticket? Its only about $300, I'm so worth that. I want to see a show called "Mayhem" at the Evidence Room with Megan Mullally, but I'm po' right now. I need some Nappy Roots to sing to me and tell me...this will also be the quote of the day since I have to go..

"All my life been po' but it really dont matter no mo', and they wonder why we act this way, nappy roots gon' be okay."

Hope those are the right words cuz Im real good at getting words to songs wrong. Ex: Rolling Stones "Beast of Burden" I thought was "Big Suburban". My mom just doesn't let that one go.

Peace out, homeslice! ;)

Well kids, welcome to the 21st century. For the first time today, I used a scanner. Okay, okay - they've been around for awhile now, but I'm proud based on the fact that I went to the back desk at work and just went at it. Too bad I wasn't scanning something fun like Spain pics or the cute pictures of me & my roomies, but my bro's picture. He's gonna be 30 in a month so we are having a surprise party for him. Can you imagine, my big brother Che' is going to be 30? Just yesterday he moved my car for me @ my grandma's house, and in the process he put a motocross sticker over my WMU keychain. No, the teasing never ends. But that is what my wonderful 6 year old gets from me - what his dad dishes out to me, I give right back to Matthew...its payback time for all the times he told me I had an older sister named Erica who he flushed down the toilet. Yes, I did believe him :) (Wouldn't you?)

After talking to my grandmother yesterday, I've determined that my daughter is destined to have the middle name of "Abigail". Considering my grandmothers name is Patricia Gail, and my mother's name is Gail Ann - my grandma wants me to name my girl Abigail. (No, I'm not pregnant or trying thank you very much! Just planning centuries ahead) Sooooo I don't like that name, but I figure I can't go wrong with that for a middle name...it is taking into consideration my wonderful mom and granny. Then I can name my other daughter Clara after grandma Carrasco. Yeah, okay. It'll be funny when I look back on this when I actually have a kid and go "what the hell? I was gonna name my kid that!!"

For those of you who don't have maids ( I don't either), I have a good question for you. How do you clean an abnormally large bathtub? Today for the first time since Beth & I have lived here, I decided it was time for me to clean out our shower/bathtub. Kalamazoo water is just disgusting, so I could ajax the fuck out of that shower and it would still look brown. Anyway, back to the point of this enthralling story. We have a normal size tub, but on two sides of it, there are like seats for large people or something, I don't know. Mind you, the shower is enclosed as well, as in those yucky sliding shower doors that never look clean either. Soooo when I cleaned the tub, I had to GET IN there with my barefeet scrub everything. Is there any other way to do it? Please, do let me know. I had to take a shower afterward because the thought of rust and mildew was giving me the heebie jeebies.

I'm tired - I got up at 5 freakin 30 this morning to drive back to Kalamazoo. Maybe I should go to bed now - seriously, sleeping is the highlight of my day. I waited and waited for it to be 10:00 so I could watch Real World/Road Rules Battle of the Sexes (obsessed with that too!) but its not freakin' on!!!! UGH! On a TV note, my fav actress won a SAG last night, Megan Mullally :) And I have also decided Sean Hayes is not gay, he's just an amazingly good actor and he is HOT in real life. Love to get me a piece of that booty :)

Okay, I think I will go to bed. Do you ever lay in bed and worry about falling asleep? I do that, it sucks.

My quote for the day you ask? I will do a Will & Grace quote since I can and I love that show with every inch of my pinky finger(you thought i was gonna say manhood, didnt you? I dont have one of those you JERK! Too bad my nephew Roman thinks I have a weenie though. How do you explain 'girly parts' to a 5 year old?):

"It's time to get your head out of the dumps & your legs in the air!"~Karen Walker.

Hasta nunca (that one is for you peligrosa jaime!)
