Hip hip hooray today is Tuesday! Which okay, I know that isnt the most exciting day of the week like *FRIDAY* generally is, but today I get to go home for Thanksgiving. :) Considering that I haven't been home in over three weeks (I can't believe it either!) I am missing my mom and my cats and my dog and my nephews and my bed too. I don't have anything too exciting planned for my 6 days at home - just doing massive amounts of reading for classes as well as babysitting on Friday for my five favorite non-relatives in the whole world. At this point, I am definitely the most excited about eating turkey and mashed potatoes-yummy!

In hindsight, this semester hasnt been all that tough. I am struggling in a few classes, based on my own slacking capabilities and those can be credited to two sources - TV and going to the bar. TV is like the worst enemy of a college student, I swear. Last year we didn't have cable, so there is no questioning how I managed A's, BA's and B's for three of the four semesters. Now though, TV is such a distraction-for example, I will give you my TV watching yesterday....Got home from class around 5, and started watching Home Improvement at 6. Generally I dont like this show so much, but whatever. At 6:30, Will & Grace which I watch twice every single night and miss on the weekends...7:00 it was back to Home Improvement, but this was a good episode because Tim supposedly got an honorary PhD from WMU which was cool to see our emblem on national tv. Then 7:30 it was Will & Grace again, which was a really old one-Karen talked normal! At 8 I got up and started packing my stuff to take home with me while listening to a CD...Then at 9:23 or so I watched the end of Everybody Loves Raymond and then proceeded to watch half an hour of Erin Brockovich before heading to bed. Why did I go to bed at 10 pm you ask? I had to work at 8 this morning, and for those of you who aren't that aware, I am not the happiest person that early in the morning anyhow, without 8 hours of sleep it's even worse.
I'll finish this post later........
